Growing Terrific Tomatoes

It may be cold and snowy outside now, but soon spring will be here and it will be time to start gardening again!   Pierce/St. Croix County Extension Horticulture Outreach Specialist Diana Alfuth is offering a virtual class on growing tomatoes to help you be successful this growing season.

“Growing Terrific Tomatoes” on Thursday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m., will cover everything home gardeners need to know to get a bountiful crop, including variety selection, seed starting, fertilizing and watering, mulching, pruning, common disease and insect issues, and harvesting. This comprehensive class will answer all your tomato-growing questions so that you can have your best crop ever.

Class is free but pre-registration is required.   Register for class by following the links below. Once you register, you will receive a personal link to join the actual Zoom class.
